When we took over management of ussandsculpting.com in 2012, this venerable site was still using HTML and iFrames to handle most tasks. So first order of business was to convert the site to a fun and functional WordPress theme. We then went about creating custom page templates, shortcodes and plugins to modify the site to the exacting standards of the owner.
The result was (and is!) a fun but gorgeous artistic showcase for the event (the LARGEST sand sculpting competition in the world) and the artists. We also love this event and the site because of all the money it raises for local charities in and around San Diego, CA.
We help them make updates every year, perform ongoing SEO and WSO tweaks, and help them make their dreams for the site a success.
